Located on the University of Arizona’s main campus, Arizona Laboratory for Emerging Contaminants (ALEC) specializes in analyzing a wide range of organic and inorganic dissolved, macromolecular, and nano-particulate compounds in various environmental matrices, including LEO pore and seepage waters.  The facility houses state-of-the-art mass spectrometry and molecular spectroscopy instrumentation in support of faculty, students and staff conducting environmental research.
