In recognition of the opening of the opening of the UNAM Centro de Estudios Mexicanos en Tucson, an event UNAM @ UA: Academic and Cultural events was held in Tucson at the end of September 2015.

Next Generation Sonoran Desert Researchers 2015 Summit

CAZMEX provided support for the gathering of over 175 researchers from across the greater Sonoran Desert whose works ranges across diverse fields. The event was focused on connecting those whose passion is the research and conservation of the shared US/Mexico aridland environment.
