Dr. Peter Rental, with the University of Arizona's Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Department, Ecology 482 (Ichthyology) class will survey the fish population in the Biosphere 2 Mangrove system.
Nov 9th - Peter and TA come out and set and bait nets in Mangrove - put in place about 20 Promer Nets and 10 Metal minnow traps
Nov 10 - 50% Class (about 10 people) comes out to B2 - arrive at about 11:45 - check traps, mark fish, ID, count, measure, release fish, re-set traps - brief tour of ocean would be nice for fish people - depart about 3:00
Nov 12 - Other 50% Class (about 10 people) comes out to B2 - arrive at about 11:45 - check traps, capture, ID and measure, and release fish, re-set traps - brief tour of ocean would be nice for fish people - depart about 3:00
