The Biosphere 2 Experience
Biosphere 2 is Open with a Great New Experience!
The Biosphere 2 Experience app includes never before seen photos and videos that visualize the science and 30-year history. Through science stories and interviews you'll have the opportunity to learn more about our amazing, world-class research as you traverse a safe (socially distanced) one-way path around the exterior, through the human habitat and interior wilderness areas of Biosphere 2!
Tickets for the Biosphere 2 Experience must be pre-purchased online, and visitors must download either the Android or Apple app to complete their journey.
The Biosphere 2 Experience will take approximately 1 hr 15 min to complete.
There will be a limited number of tickets sold per hour and day. Once a limit is reached, interested guests must select another time and/or day.

Masks are mandatory at all times while onsite
Visitor Safety Guidelines
Health and safety guidelines are in place for your safety and the safety of others, we appreciate your cooperation. Those unable or unwilling to comply will not be permitted to enter or remain on the grounds.

Water Filling Stations
Touchless water bottle refill stations will be available. Please bring your own reusable water bottle.
Hand Sanitizing Stations
Hand sanitizing stations will be located throughout Biosphere 2. We ask that everyone use them after touching a surface.
Individuals Experiencing Symptoms
Visitors who are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms such as sore throat, cough, shortness of breath, fever or recent loss of taste and/or smell are asked to visit us at another time.
Follow Directional Signs
Follow all posted signs and directions from staff stationed throughout Biosphere 2 regarding social distancing, traffic flow, capacity, closed areas and other safety protocol.
Avoid Closed Areas
Select areas within Biosphere 2 will be temporarily closed.
What to Bring
Please wear appropriate attire. Recommended items include: closed toed comfortable walking shoes, sun protection, and a water bottle. The visit will include walking outdoors and through tropical systems.
